Horus Cruz stood in silence in front of the wall of fabrics, amber eyes narrowed in thought, focused on a deep blue fabric that was thin and cool to the touch. Arching a brow, the hybrid creature reached out a hand and lightly traced the fabric with a delicate fingertip. No. This one wouldn’t do. She needed something better, something that stretched enough to make a body suit for training. Why she had let Eclipse talk her into training her powers was beyond her.

Long, deep violet hair fell to her upper back, pulled up into a simple French braid, wrapped around itself to create a bun. It was effective and the loose bangs were pulled back gently as well, covering her wolf ears perfectly. She had human ears as well from her vampire half and that let her go into town without any “Kill the halfbreed!” crap. It got pretty damn annoying. Humans. . . She couldn’t fathom why they were so stupid as a race.

Some individuals were actually pretty smart. An unbidden chuckle escaped at the thought. Humans? Smart? That would be the day. Horus had yet to find one human who could make her applaud. She rolled her eyes, turning from the fabric suddenly. A deep amber material caught her eyes and she headed towards it. It was perfect! Looking at the fabric for a little while longer, she pulled it off the rack and another roll of the same fabric took it’s place automatically. Nestled in her arms the fabric glided smoothly over her existing clothing, proving just how smooth it was.

She picked out some other fabric as well, several smaller rolls of black and crimson ribbons, a pack of chocolates once at the cashier and a small bottle of clear nail polish. This was, after all, a woman’s shop. She didn’t really understand why there was so many men in there though. Perhaps they were just checking out the women? Her eyes narrowed and she looked behind her, catching some guy checking her out.

“Freaking perverts.” She growled, turning from the unknown male and paying for her purchases. Muttering to herself, she tucked a lock of hair behind her right human ear and left the store. It was annoying. Men ogling at her just because she had a nice ass and a good pair of breasts. Hmm… she was hungry. She needed a salad.
